Siding is not just a finish. It is part of how the wall sheds water. When the housewrap, flashings at penetrations, and trim details are wrong, the wall stays wet behind nice-looking siding and the damage shows up years later. We work the entire detail, not just the visible face.
Repair and replacement
Loose, cracked or swollen panels usually mean something is happening behind the wall. We pull a section, look at the housewrap and sheathing, and tell you whether you have a localized repair or a bigger moisture issue that needs to be addressed before new siding goes on.
Vinyl, fibre cement and cedar
Vinyl is the practical default for most homes. Fibre cement (Hardie) holds up well to Lower Mainland weather and gives a different look at a higher cost. Cedar still belongs on certain houses but needs ongoing maintenance — we will be straight with you about that before you commit.
Water and air management
Window flashings, penetration detailing, butt joints, kickout flashings at roof-wall intersections — the small details that decide whether a siding job lasts twenty years or starts failing in five. We do not skip them.
