Most gutter problems we see in Surrey are not the gutter itself. They are the slope, the outlet sizing, the downspout location, or a clogged corner nobody has cleaned since the trees grew in. Replacing the gutter without fixing the cause just resets the clock.
Inspection and focused repair
We check slope with a level, look at every joint and outlet, inspect the fascia behind the gutter, and follow the downspouts to where they actually discharge. A lot of overflow problems get solved by adding an outlet or rerouting a downspout — not by replacing the whole run.
Cleaning and drainage
Properties with mature cedars or maples in the Lower Mainland need at least one fall clean and often a spring one too. We pull debris out by hand, flush the downspouts and flag any joint that is going to leak in the next season so you can plan the repair.
Replacement and coordination
When the gutter is genuinely past it, we upsize the trough where rainfall demands it, add downspouts where overflow has been a problem, and coordinate with fascia, soffit and roof-edge work so the install actually solves the issue instead of papering over it.
